Spoiler alert!"Epic Tattoo Fails!: The Most Hilarious Misspelled, Badly Drawn and Shockingly Inappropriate Ink" is tragically funny. I read it during my commute on public transportation, and I couldn't help laughing out loud.Some of the tattoos are tragic, as you would expect from the title of the book. Those poor people! The lesson here is to be sure your tattoo artist knows exactly how to spell the tattoo you're buying, and avoid the word, "regret." You'll see why when you see the number of times it's spelled incorrectly in the book.Some of the tats are racy (the pair of monkeys strategically placed around a belly button, for example), but they can be enjoyed by an adult audience with a warped sense of humor. ;) Some of them just make you wonder what they were thinking when they asked for that tattoo.The captions, when provided, almost always made me laugh. One woman has the points of the compass inked onto her upper back and lower neck (N, E, S, and W). However, north and west are opposite each other as are east and south. :o The caption reads, "I think I'm gonna stick with GPS."The guy showing off the tattoo of a mustache he had placed on the INSIDE of his upper lip is something worth seeing. It was just too funny!
I thought it was a very cute. Some of the tattoos I had seen before, but most I hadn't seen. It never ceases to amaze me how the mistake can not only get past the person that drew up the tattoo, it also gets past the tattoo artist. It was a amusing.
Do not tattoo if you can't spell. Bad tattoos are bad but badly drawn and misspelled ones are the worst.
Omg, this is what you want if you need a good laugh. This is great, even though most of these are just WRONG! Lol Laughed my you-know-what off. Thanks so much.
A bit pricey for a scant 84 pages of body art. I've seen a few of these tatoos before but many more were new to me. There are some really good tattoo mistakes in here. Seems the word "Regrets" is the hardest word to spell in the English Language. I was surprised that I have such bad taste because; in some cases I found the supposedly bad tattoos cute, clever and or amusing. The tatoos I found the most funny were the ones that were great ideas poorly drawn. I was shocked that there were some tatoos that were considered bad taste even by me. It takes a truly awespme base and ill tattoo to make me think it is in bad taste. The tatoos that blended the human navel into a character's anatomy were cute. The one where the guy is struggling to crawl out from a persons body part is also funny. It made me do a double take.I DID LAUGH OUT LOUD, looking at some of these tatoos so it was not money wasted but the cost of admission to this 84 page freak show is steep indeed for the few pictures and comments you get. Five stars for humor minus two for lack of value. For $2.99 the book should have had 180 pages at least. It's not enough to create a good book one should get value for the price asked for and paid.
This book was a fun little light read. It was rather clever and well put together. My husband and I looked at the many pictures together and got a few good laughs from it. Enjoyable!
worth your time. Made me laugh and shake my head wondering why people are so stupid. Makes me glad that I still love my tats.
pictures were clear....i laughed so hard....these are permanent!!!! i had to share this book and its illustrations with several of my friends...I want to see more of this!
