Very disappointed. There are very few poorly selected black and white images that don't show anything of what you really see at these events. The reader will have to wonder or imagine how things are done or performed. The history as described here, lacks feeling, flavor and color. This book is only a basic - very Americanized guide with a dull overview of charreria. The art in an event of Charreria Mexicana is a colorful and happy event, full of music, and full of daredevil maneuvers that should have been described here more in-depth.
